She was predeceased by: her spouse Arthur Elchert; and her son-in-law Douglas Habermell. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Habermell, Dawn Ditzend (Joseph Ditzend), Richard Elchert (Debra), Keith Elchert and Darcy Campbell. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
