He is survived by: his spouse Stoja Markovic; his children, Janice Campbell (David), Marko Markovic (Jennifer) and John Markovic (Michelle); his grandchildren, Alex, Sofia, Anna, Adam and Lydia; his siblings, Stana (Momcilo), Ruza (Savo), Cvijetin (Mara) and Joka (Savo); his sibling-in-law Zoran (Stojanka); and his nieces and nephews, Joysee, Johnny, Miladin, Miodrag, Radenko, Radislav, Mico, Maja, Goran, Svetlana and Danijela.
He was known for his sense of humour, willingness to help others and contributions to the local Serbian Orthodox community.
