He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Gladys; his son James Wayne; his brothers, Lyle (Joanne), Elgin (Pat) and Wilfred; and his in-laws, Mary Cain, Audrey Elliot (Frank), Jane Thompson (Lloyd), Frank Cain, Hewtison Cain, Cathy Parker (Harold), Vic Cain (Marie), Aileen Wheildon (Francis) and Brownlee Cain (Lila).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Kelly Sheridan (Jeff) and Jenny McNabb-Dunlop (Troy); and his grandchildren, Tayler Sheridan, Kaylin Sheridan (Danny Halley), Haiden Sheridan, Hayley Hertner and Arleigh Hertner. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
