He is survived by: his wife Delores; his children, Tim Thaler (Wendy), Deb Edwards (Paul), Chris Davis (Randy) and Sandy Read (Jason); his grandchildren, Michael Thaler (Chantal Hearn), Greg Thaler (Beth), Tom Thaler, Kim Cox (Greg), Nikki Edwards (Mark Raso), Will Clements (Jamie), Dusty Clements (Jessica), Holly Masa (Rob), Sam Read (Olga Skarina) and Jonah Read (Maddy Grasman); his great grandchildren, Ruby, Lucas Thaler, Owen, Reese Thaler, Claire, Zoey Cox, Lilly Clements, Charlotte and Harley Rose Clements; his sister Bernice Allensen (late Lloyd); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Bartholomew (Joan) and Jean Bartholomew (late Jack).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM at the same location.
