He was predeceased by: his sister Connie Taylor; and his brother-in-law Harry Taylor of Guelph. He is survived by: his wife Jean (McGill); his children, Kimberly McArdle-Phipps (Jon), Kathryn Flannery (Steve) and Jody Lynn Risdon; his grandchildren, Laura Flannery, Joel Flannery (Olivia), Sam McArdle-Buse (Vira) and Jess Ostojic; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Grace Flannery and Ophelia Rose McArdle-Buse; and his stepsiblings, Mary Susan Aitken and Jeff McArdle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
