He was predeceased by: his son Mark Scott; his brother-in-law Raymond Simmons; his parents, Lloyd Scott and Emma Scott; and his siblings, Vera Prior (Glen) and Roy Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Scott; his child Laurie Scott (late Donald Langs); his grandchildren, Nathan Langs, Amanda Langs and Jeff Langs; and his brother-in-law Harold Matthews (late Sheila). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oakland Cemetery (33-45 Millcreek Lane, Delaware, ON N0L1E0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Delaware Legion Branch 598 (11577 Longwoods Rd, Delaware, ON N0L1E0).
