With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Haggarty in Lakefield, Ontario, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Haggarty; and her sisters, Myrtle Root and Beulah Smith. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Brockley (Barry) and Barry Haggarty (Sue); her grandchildren, Michael Brockley (Ashley), Jennifer Brockley, Adam Haggarty (Kate) and Brett Haggarty; and her great grandchildren, Hope and Mara.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Highland Park Cemetery, Highland Park Chapel (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).

In memory of Betty and in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
