He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexina Ludgate and Michael Ludgate; and his siblings, Arvella Power, Viva Quigg, Bernice Teeple, Stella Teeple, Ken, Arnold and Douglas Ludgate.
He is survived by: his spouse Marjorie; and his children, John (Sheila), Joan (Greg Mosier), Gerard (Jean), Anne (Randy Florence) and Peter (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
