With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Ray Northey of Lakefield, Ontario, who passed away on August 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Northey; his parents, Winston Northey and Violet Northey; and his sister Phyllis Boyce. He is survived by: his children, Karen Barnard (David), Sheila Northey, John Northey (Cindy) and Ken Northey (Myrna); and his grandchildren, Joshua Barnard, Sarah Sheehan (Brett), Matthew Barnard and Rachel Northey.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hendren Funeral Home - Lakefield Chapel (66 Queen St, Lakefield, ON K0L2H0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
