He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Erica Bateman; his parents, Frederick Doyle Sr. and Jackie Medland (Bill); and his brothers, Mike, Mark, Martin and Danny Medland.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Doyle; his stepchild Valla Reid; his grandchildren, Logan (Emma) and Aaron; his siblings, Karen McFadden (Dave) and Jim Medland; and his in-laws, Julie Hill (Wayne), Cathie Medland (Ken), Debbie Campion (Ken), Brenda Bridle (Gary) and Yvonne Medland. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends.
