She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Sutherland Sr.; her grandson Mark; and her siblings, Norman J. Turner (Betty), Dorothy Douglas (William) and Thelma Watson (Bertram).
She is survived by: her children, Ted and Dawn Sutherland of Douro-Dummer; her grandsons, Michael Van, Arthur Sutherland (Kat) and Danny Sutherland (Stephanie); her stepgrandsons, Jason and Shane (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Carter, Evan, Daniel, Sol and Teagan; her brother William "Bill" Turner (Sandy); and her pet Misty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
