With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kevin Thomas Heffernan of Lakefield, Ontario, who passed away on March 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Heffernan and Mary Ellen McKeiver (Ella); his wife Barbara Johanna Heffernan (Leonard); his daughter Mary Jo Logel (Peter); his siblings, Don Heffernan (Cecile Chenier), Chris Heffernan (Ruth Hickey), Della Johnston (Bernie) and Margaret Murphy (Paul); and his sister-in-law Marianne Sabatino (Joseph).
He is survived by: his children, Betty Ann Logel (Gerard), Kevin (Trudy Cummings), Michelle, Patricia and Jeannie; his brother Michael "Mick" Heffernan (Elaine) of Peterborough; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Lou Fair (late Bob) of St. Catharines and Linda Pearson (late Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
