He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Vera; and his siblings, Sherm (Jean), Laura (Howard Darling), Carmen (Marie), Edna (Cecil Banks) and Elwood.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Grant (Mary Jane), Cindy Hilker (Justin) and Blair (Tammy); his grandchildren, Brittney, Courtney, Karly (Nick), Cassie Nelson (Mike), Ryley (Emily), Brett Hilker (Annie), Delaney (Mats) and Keira Nelson (Owen); his brothers, Mervin (Lois) and Ralph (Cheryl); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jamieson and Gail Davidson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only a specific number of visitors are allowed in the funeral home at one time.
