It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty McGregor in Lanark, Ontario, who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Chaplin and Mabel Chaplin (Miller); her husband Howard McGregor; and her siblings, Helen O'Gorman-Code (late Ted O'Gorman), Wynne Chaffee (late Al), John (late Orpha), Cameron (late Betty), Donald (late Doris) and Gordon Chaplin (late Lorna).
She is survived by: her children, Jim McGregor (Pam) and Mary Oliver (George); her grandchildren, Beth McGregor (Chris Long), Kate Norman (Kyle), Mark McGregor (Alyssa Robinson), Neil McGregor (Meagan), Jennie Brydges (Bryan), Chrissie Graham (Eric), John Oliver (Kerri Seabrook) and Derek Oliver; her great grandchildren, Austen, Freyja, Isabella, Hudson, Norah, Jameson, Troy, Kurtis, Chantal, Carson, Evelyn and Oliver; and her in-laws, Jean Mooney (late Sid) and Don McGregor (Margaret). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, Perth Site or CHEO would be appreciated by the family.
