He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverley Tansey; his parents, Simon Kirk and Anna Kirk; and his brothers, Ernest and Mike.
He is survived by: his children, Peter of St. Thomas, Frances of Kitchener, Deborah of Toronto and Bill (Bruce Lippert) of Kitchener; his stepchildren, Lisa Tansey and Benjamin Tansey (Karin) of California; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Eithan, Chance and Camilla.
