He is survived by: his wife Clare; his children, Lesley, Peter (Janet) and George; his grandchildren, Laura, Robert, Graham, Fiona and Allison; and his sisters, Elizabeth Courneya, Ruth Macfie and Mary Geddes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
