He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Pennett and Evelyn Pennett (Mackler); and his brother-in-law Cliff Cox. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Pennett (Turner); his daughters, JoAnne Riley (Charlie) and Patti Cameron (Paul); his grandchildren, MacKenzie MacDonald (Kyle Sargeant), Tricia Barr (Branden) and Nicholas Cameron (Nicole Cassell); his siblings, Jean Visser (Ron) and Paul Pennett (Bonnie Sargeant); and also, Karina (Benn), Greg (Tara), Patrick (Melissa) and Nathan Riley (Harry Adrain).

In remembrance of Jim, contributions to the Day Away Program of the Alzheimers Society or the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
