She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Devitt and Vina Devitt; her sisters, Jane Colligan (Art) and Betty Cole (Doug); her husband Bob McTavish; her children, Art, Dixie and Stephen McTavish (Marnie); her grandchildren, Andrew James (Kelly), Leah Kuruneru (Shawn), Josh (Heather), Megan (Sean), Jason McTavish, Sean McTavish and Kenna Brooke (John); and her great grandchildren, Kaylee (Nate), Sarah, Naamah Brooke, Alina, Lincoln, Adrian McTavish, Lydia, Maren, Ruth, Edison James and Morris Kuruneru.
The services will be private for the family and will be held at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at 2:00pm In honour of Ruth, memorial contributions to Lanark Lodge (Resident Activity Fund) would be greatly appreciated.
