He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Spaans; his children, Jane Manning (Robert) and William Spaans (Cynthia); his stepdaughters, Gina, Santos (Colin Comissiong) and Lori Weiser; his grandchildren, Kendra Hanley (Mitchell), Kyle Manning (Jaclyn Neeb), Candice Spaans (Shawn Patterson), Jasmine Coe (Richard), Billie-Jo Spaans, Leah, Santos and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Annabelle, Kyla, Hailey, Alexis, Addilyn and Brysen; his siblings, Henk Spaans (Gé), Marta Vanderwal and Nettie Kuipers (Gerry); and his cousin Ria Schaafsma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
