He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Avery; his sister Barbara King; and his parents, Harold Avery and Gladys Sherman. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra McCourt, Judy Horton (late Doug), Linda McCourt (Jack) and Kathy Wicks (Bruce); and his siblings, Terry, Kathleen Barrett (Bill) and Patsy Helie (Gilles).
