It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verdon Lafortune of Lancaster, Ontario, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Murray LaFortune (Shirley Miller-Hughston); and his parents, Verdon Lafortune and Rosita Lafortune (Dupuis). He is survived by: his daughter Brigitte LaFortune of St. Jean; his grandchildren, Frédéric, Charlotte and Zacharie Sabourin; and his sister Lori Botelho (Manuel) of Hamilton.

He saw the signs I was ready for labor and drove us to the hospital, calming Mark, waiting for our first child, . Always a phone call away, , Bob was there when needed. The funny stories of crazy antics, with his infamous sidekick George, made us howl with laughter.. He was so proud of you Bridgette, his pride & joy. I thank God he was in our lives.
