She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Smith and Ruth Smith (Townsend); her husband Bruce Arthur Carl; her son Lester Carl; and her siblings, James Smith, Donald Smith, Rodger Smith and Penny Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Christine (Barry Cope) of Simcoe, Bill Carl (Barb) of Jericho and Jeff Carl (Jeannette) of Vienna; her grandchildren, Adam Carl (Robin), Brittany Matthews (Cory), Joel Russell, Rachel Carl, Tracy Cronkite and Matt Cronkite; and her great grandchildren, Rozlynn, Merritt, Warren, Eli and Rhaina.
Memorial donations to "Cultus United Church" or to the "Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario" or to the "Alzheimer Society" would be gratefully acknowledged by the Carl family.
