With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Marie Kirkland of Lansdowne, Ontario, who passed away on May 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Herbert Kirkland; her daughters, Kathy and Shirley Anne; her parents, Leslie Smith and Ella Smith; and her siblings, Alfred (Ann), Lucille Jeroy (Mike) and Arnold (Heather).

She is survived by: her children, Linda, Gary (Tracy), Dale (Regina), Karen (Brian McCann), Leslie (Dave Purdy), Terry (Darlene), Kevin (Vicky), Kim and Lori; her grandchildren, Chris, Amy, Katie, Dale Scott, Ryan, Amanda, Tyler K, Krista, Kayla, Jen, Krystal, Ashley, Olivia, Leah, Stevie, Tyler M, Jeanette, Kristen, Mallory, Anita and Michael; and her siblings, Barbara Powell (late Earl), Marvin Smith (Dorothy), Wayne Smith (Shirley) and Donna Foley (Mick).
