He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Fred Demers and Irene Demers; and his sisters, Georgette and Yvonne.

He is survived by: his children, Fred Demers (Delphine Blenkhorn), Dawn Malciw (George), Cathy Demers and Betty Ann Jacques (Michel); and his brother Donnie Demers (Mary Rose). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
