She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Burns; her sons, Gary, Arthur and Dan; her parents, Mary and Thomas Anderson; and her siblings, Lawrence, Thomas, James, Arthur, Wilbert, Norman, Elmer Anderson, Clara Bates, Mary Cochrane and Violet Liscumb.

She is survived by: her children, Ross Burns and Laurie Taylor; her niece Janice Walsh; her grandchildren, Brent Burns, Tracy McGregor (Ted), Trevor Taylor, Robin Koistinen (Phil), Dan Burns (Bett), Dana Laronde and Arthur Jr. Burns (Tammy); her daughter-in-law Melody; her close friend Ruth Sommerville; her son Dwight Wainman; and her caregiver Assistant.
