He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; and his siblings, Alma, Germaine, Joseph, Marcel, Roger and Robert.

He is survived by: his children, Monique O'Shaughnessy (Kelly), Norm Remillard (Danielle) and Lise Remillard (Gabe); his grandchildren, Trevor O'Shaughnessy, Cody O'Shaughnessy, Matthieu Remillard, Nathalie Remillard, Amy McKeever and Liam McKeever; his great grandchild Isabella O'Shaughnessy; his sister Irene Ranger; his sister-in-law Yvette Remillard; and his close friend Rene Garreau.
