He was predeceased by: his parents, Donato Antonio and Lucia Simone; his sisters, Marietta Pietrangelo, Giazietta Simone of Italy and Anna Pietrangelo of Amherstburg; and his in-laws, Robert, Leo, Kay, Raymond, Roy and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Madge; his children, Dan "Donato" Simone (Deborah Gendreau), Linda Greenwood (Ryan) and Christina Simone (Lee Farley); and his siblings-in-law, Marvin, Kay Lesperance, Gary and Jackie Lesperance.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Families First (585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3W3). A prayer was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (225 Brock St, Amherstburg, ON N9V2H3).
