He is survived by: his wife Mary Patricia "Patsy" Thomson; his daughters, Pamela Mitchell (Jeff) and Patricia Artymko; his grandchildren, Jillian Ellis (Braden Burmister), Cameron Mitchell and Aaron Artymko (Shawna-Leigh Mariutti); his great grandchildren, Warren, William, Brooke, Isabelle and Maverick; and his siblings, Bob Thomson and Doll Pearson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thorne Funeral Home "cannington Chapel" (109 Laidlaw St S, Cannington, ON L0E1E0).
