Il a été précédé dans la mort par : ses parents, Aurèle Chartrand et Jeanne Sauvé; et sa fille Gisèle (feu Claude Lauzon). Il laisse dans le deuil : sa douce moitié Lise Girard; ses fils, Marcel et Robert; ses soeurs, Jacqueline (Jean-Noël Laviolette), Marie-Marthe (feu Fernand Rochon) et Florence (feu Jacques Sibley); et ainsi que Lauzon.
