She was predeceased by: her husband Ray; and her sister-in-law Pat McPhee. She is survived by: her children, Dave (Mary), Dianne Angiers, Sandra Kirkwood, Janet Devins and Sharon Tamlin (Paul); her grandchildren, Sally Ayres (Luke), Jason (Jacey Davis), Josh Kirkwood (Tonya), Curtis Angiers (Dayna Dickson), Julie Mann (Heath), Devin Kirkwood, Emma Arthur (Chris) and Brett Tamlin; and her friends, Lorne and Millie Lawder.

“Diane and Sandy, I am so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. Sandy and I just spoke a couple weeks ago and at that time, it sounded like she was well and doing fine. I will always remember wanting to get off the school bus at your home because there was always a feeling of family whether we were lying on the carpet doing our homework together or taking our turn peeling potatoes or heading to the barn. Such a feeling of warmth that I will take with me together. She was a amazing woman.”
