It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aris Marcus (Lindsay, Ontario), who passed away on August 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Timothy David Marcus; his brother Leo Marcus (late Mary); and his brothers-in-law, Peter Van Halteren, Tymen Van Haltern and William Van Halteren.
He is survived by: his spouse Hillie Marcus; his daughters, Julia Wilson (Gord) and Amy Marcus (Jamie); his grandchildren, Calla, Rowan, Eliana, Meaghan and Breanna; his siblings, Ali (late Lou Overwyk), Rina (Elzo), Hugo (Charlene) and Willi; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Van Halteren (Gre), Bill Jonkers (Lena), Margaret Buwalda (Bill), Gertie Ottens (Heike), John Van Halteren (Debbie), Zeger Van Halteren (Penny), Klaasje Teeuwissen (Henk) and Sally Marcus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Wilson Soccer Fields, 235 Colborne Street West, Lindsay, Ontario on Thursday, September 3rd at 2:30 p. m. Please wear a mask and bring your own lawn chair.
