It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill McCarty of Lindsay, Ontario, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Allison. He is survived by: his children, Cathie Hawery, Michael (Sam) and Paul (Rita); his grandchildren, Jodie Hood (Gerald), Shane Hawery (Tara), TJ McCarty (Tina), Gray McCarty, Haylen Short (Henry), Jake and Jeremy McCarty (Brit); and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Lauren Hood, Carter and Logan Hawery.
Neither the pandemic nor winter could keep him from swinging a golf club and he developed an indoor technique chipping balls into the open oven.
