He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia West; his mother Margaret; his sons, Gordon, Richard and Robert; and his brother Ross West.
He is survived by: his children, Bill (Mary), Linda Cupples (Rick) and Donna (Jim); his stepchildren, Cathy Kerswill and Jim Head; his grandchildren, Matthew (Kaz), Robin, Justin, Karen (Ian), Greg (Sharon), Cheryl, Michael (Claire), Louise, Laura and Derick; his sister June Aube (late Phil Aube) of Calgary; and his sister-in-law Bonnie West.
