She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Jean Howie and William Richie Howie. She is survived by: her husband Michael Hensman; her sons, Jeremy and Gregory Foster; her brother Reverend John Howie; her sister-in-law Frances Howie; her grandchildren, Eric, Zoe, Brooklynn, Tyson and Lily; her nephew Ian Scott (Jannette Howie); and her great-nephew Cameron Scott Howie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Society of Ontario and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
