We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Charles Raymond Thornton of Lindsay, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Charles Raymond Thornton.

He was predeceased by : his wife Winnifred Daisy Thornton; his children, Lance Thornton and Wendy Payne; his children-in-law, Tony Payne and Diane Thornton; his granddaughter Rachel Harrison; and his siblings, Victor, Gloria, Larry, Muriel and Eleanor.

He is survived by : his sisters, Lucienna and Lorraine; his children, Carol McGrath (Jim), Bud Thornton (Liz), Faye Harrison (Ralph), Raymond Thornton (Jean), Lu Sass (Fred), Mike Thornton (Joanna), Penny Harnum (Clay), Robin Thornton, Mark Thornton (Heather) and Fern Dunn (Terry); and his daughter-in-law Linda Thornton. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic there will be no visitation; a private service will take place at Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre, 19 Moore Road, Lindsay, ON on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
