It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christina Diane Shand (Lindsay, Ontario), who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Christina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Christina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her significant other Frank VanRijn; her sister Debbie Shand; her children, Alvin Shand, Nancy Barber and Laura Barber; and her grandchildren, Devon, Kennedy, Cadin, Tina, Kyrstin, Keaira, Mariah, Jayden and Rylan. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
