With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Auger (Lindsay, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Auger and Eliot Auger; and his sister Julie Auger. He is survived by: his spouse Anneke; his sons, Greg (Laura) and Tim (Jamie); his sister Janet Auger (Randy); and his nieces, Zoe and Tian. He is also survived by his two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law and ten other nieces and nephews.

Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease ten years ago, Dave gradually had to leave all these activities behind.

“Dear family both myself (tracy howard) and my brother taidhg, attended weldon and were taught by dave. He was by far one of my favourite teachers - kind, gracious, full of integrity, he truly cared about his students. He was always humble and ready with a quiet smile. I went on a canoe trip led by him when i was in grade 10 and was his "canoe partner". I was lacking in skills yet he made me feel like an incredible canoeist. He was an amazing person and teacher and i will not forget him.”
