She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Tamblyn. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Frocking, Peter Tamblyn (Joan), Stephen Tamblyn and Dave Tamblyn (Diane); her grandchildren, Todd Frocking (Beth), Darrin Frocking, Nicole Kilfoy (Paul), Jared Berry and Sarah Kristensen; her great grandchildren, Brandon Frocking and Cole Kilfoy; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Tamblyn. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Doreen may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
