He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Johnson (Minnie) and George Tracy Johnson; his wife Margaret Helen (McGill); his brothers, Lloyd, Keith, Graeme and Ian; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret (Lloyd), Diane (Garnet), Ardith (Keith) and Charles (Dorothy).

He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Norcross and Garnet (Dianne); and his friend Jack Stover (Donna).
