He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart and Carrie; and his friend Marlyn Keenan. He is survived by: his children, Sherry (Mike Spenhouse) of Calgary and Jim Harris of Lindsay; his sister Darlene (Dave Nutt) of Douro-Dummer; and his sibling's children, Angela, Ken and Kevin.
