She was predeceased by: her husband John; her granddaughter Andrea; her parents, Henrietta Merritt and Samuel George Merritt; and her sister Beatrice Marion Gillespie.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Joann), Janet (late Allan), Raymond (Sue) and Gordon (Nancy); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Philip, Brian, Allen and Sydney; her great grandchildren, Braydon, Ryan, Summer, Lily, Landon, Jack and Andrea; and her siblings-in-law, Eileen (late Paul) and Ramsey (late Alice).
In place of flowers, donations to the Make a Wish or Doctors Without Borders would be appreciated.
