She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Rathwell; her son Rob; and her sister Joyce Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Ted Rathwell and Mary (Pat Byrnes); her grandchildren, Julie (Stephen Falvo), John Rathwell (Tracy), Leighanne Rathwell (Garret Bolen), Tim Rathwell and Harrison Byrnes; her great grandchildren, Helena and Nathan; and her brothers, Tom Graham and Paul Graham.

At family & Betty's request, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mom to Harrison's Hope would be appreciated.
