He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown and Maude Brown of Scugog Island; and his siblings, Harry, Edgar, Roy, Clint, Olive Cox and Lyla Gimblett.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown (Abbott); his daughters, Carol Merritt Patti Thornton (Jim) and Debby Saunders (John); his grandchildren, David, Derek, Ariel, Darryl, Katie, Jennifer, Lee, Chrissie, Kory, Cassie, James, Kyle, Caitlin, Gagon, Travis, Mary, Brandon, Matt, Bradley, Aleysha, Justin, Marrisa, Mike, Erin, Paige, Delilah, Anita, Ivy, Jack, Rylea, Keegan, Silas, Atticus, Caleb, Kyla, Kevin, William and Tiauna-May; his sisters, Ruby Slute and Renee Skuce (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Rita, Sylvia, Jean and Joyce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, close friends.
