He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his parents, James Thompson and Salome Thompson; and his siblings, Lloyd, Jack, Vera, Lavina, Ann, Sadie and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy (Gregg), Judy, Richard (Michelle) and Michael (Tania); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel, Mackenzie, Cassidy, Kennedy, Jacob and Sawyer.
