Fred Barrett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Barrett of Lindsay, Ontario, born in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, who passed away on August 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Barrett and Arthur Barrett; and his friends, Mary Lou, Lois, Morley and Neil.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Shawn (Leslie) and Scott (Hansol); his grandchildren, Cameron and Amber; his nieces, Terry and Tracey; his cousins, Lloyd (Lynn), Ron (Wendy) and Bonnie (Merrill); and his friends, Frank, Carl, Don, John, Frona Mary, Marilyn, Glen, Sharon, George, Lynda and Charlene.

At Fred's request, cremation has taken place and due to COVID restrictions an invitation-only Celebration of life was held August 28th and private burial at Riverside Cemetery in Lindsay.

Donations can be made in Fred's honour to Kawartha Lakes Humane Society or a local charity of your choice.
