George Gardner Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Gardner (Lindsay, Ontario), who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though George may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by: his brother Doug. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Rob Gardner (Janine) and Lorie Harrison (Dave); and his sister Caroline Lemoire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (340 St Lukes Rd, Kawartha Lakes, ON K9V4R5). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Knight of Columbus - St. Luke's Hall.
