With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Elizabeth (Wilson) Slater (Lindsay, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Janet departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Janet. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Slater; her parents, Carole Wilson and Douglas Wilson; her brother Dave Wilson (Christine); and her nephews, Brian Wilson and Christopher Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Rd, Lindsay, ON K9V0A2). A reception will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre (19 Moose Rd, Lindsay, ON K9V0A2).
