He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen Murphy; his daughter Catherine (Dan Alexander) of Little Britain; his parents, Ralph Murphy and Louella Murphy; and his siblings, Ralph Murphy (Marie), Charles Murphy (Jean), Julie Gallinger (Arnold), Darlena Miller (Vernon), Frances Murtaugh (George) and Margie Fawcette (James).
He is survived by: his child Pat Murphy (Sheila) of Aurora; and his great grandchildren, Finley and Lincoln Alexander. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
