He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellis and Margaret Ellis; his son John (late Laurie); and his sister Hope. He is survived by: his wife Roselyn; his son Warren (Jackie); his grandchildren, John, Amanda, Grant and Ty; and his sisters, Bonnie and Jill.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
