It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Eugene Roger Desjardins (Lindsay, Ontario), born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Desjardins and Louise Laforge; and his siblings, Gerald, Rolande and Gilles.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nicole Robinson (late Ryan), Emma McWilliams (Daniel), Allison Cprek (Steve) and Robert Desjardins (Jane). He is also survived by 7 Great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (40 Russell St E, Lindsay, ON K9V2A4).
